Dates of holding the IXth International Scientific and Technical Conference "Development and Reliability Improvement of Distribution Networks" in 2024 were settled on November, 27th at the meeting of the organizing committee — July, 3–4th. The organizers are PJSC ROSSETI and "ELECTRIC POWER. Transmission and Distribution" journal.

The work of the experts will be arranged in sessions covering the whole range of distribution network development and operation issues, including network development design technologies, technical diagnosis, development of relay protection systems and software complexes, live work methods, personnel protection means and training.

The EEPIR technical exhibition will be held within the conference framework aimed for the major domestic manufacturers of distribution network equipment and materials to present their new products, proposals on cooperation development with the field-specific companies and search for solutions of the import substitution tasks. Belarusian and Chinese companies will be among the exhibitors.

Above 1200 participants from Russia and CIS countries will take part in the conference, including top managers and technical experts in the field of distribution networks from major state holdings, minor private companies, power departments of the oil and gas industry, representatives of the science and electromechanical equipment manufacturers.

The organizers welcome all distribution network specialists and the related-field experts to take part in one of the major power industry events of 2024 in Russia. The working language of the conference is Russian.

The conference is held annually since 2015. The VIII International scientific and technical conference "Development and Reliability Improvement of Distribution Networks" held in 2023 gathered over 1200 participants from Russia and CIS countries (the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Tadzhikistan, the Republic of Kazakhstan). More than 90 reports have been discussed within the conference framework. The EEPIR technical exhibition has presented new developments and solutions offered by the domestic companies.
